Sandra was born in the Waikato, where her dairy farming parents provided what she describes as a typical Kiwi upbringing. They were young-spirited and spiritually inclined, trained in "light healing" or "hands-on healing," which fostered an openness to experiences beyond the typical human understanding.
Sandra's journey as a therapist began early when she decided to train with Brandon Bays in Journey Work™. However, she felt that this initial training was not enough, leading her to pursue further studies and apply her skills in various ways. Now, having come full circle, she feels she has returned to her roots but with a wealth of knowledge and experience. This allows her to blend the ordinary with the extraordinary.
Sandra has a deep passion for anything related to the mind, quantum physics, and beyond.
Our history
Sandra has a remarkable ability to focus on her clients'
agendas and objectives, tailoring her approach to meet their specific needs. For clients who may not be interested in or ready for the more extraordinary aspects of holistic practices, Sandra can easily maintain clear boundaries between psychotherapy and these additional techniques.
This flexibility ensures that clients receive a therapeutic experience that aligns with their comfort levels and personal goals. For those who prefer a traditional psychotherapy approach, Sandra can deliver structured, evidence-based interventions while still providing a compassionate, supportive environment.
This adaptability not only respects individual preferences but also fosters a sense of safety, allowing clients to explore their mental health journey at their own pace. By keeping disciplines separate when necessary, Sandra can create a space where clients feel empowered to engage with the aspects of therapy that resonate with them, leading to a more effective and satisfying therapeutic experience.
Incorporating holistic methods, such as meditation or energy healing, can align with the principles of quantum physics, particularly the idea that everything is interconnected. This perspective encourages a more comprehensive understanding of the individual, recognizing the interplay between mind, body, and spirit.
Furthermore, when these practices are integrated thoughtfully, they can complement each other, allowing for more personalized therapeutic interventions that respect an individual's unique needs and experiences. This blend can foster a safe space for healing, where clients feel supported on multiple levels, ultimately leading to more effective outcomes in their mental health journey.
